A report from a prestigous French group finds that colon cancer patients have an abnormal mix of bacteria in their colon, a simply bad mix. And, There is now a great deal of research that shows short chain fatty acid (SCFAs), a wonderful substance, nourishes the bowel wall and makes the bowel more acidic, both very healthy outcomes. Prebiotics accelerate the number of the good bacteria that make SCFAs.
